Training in the times of COVID-19 and beyond

Journalism, like several other businesses is experiencing unprecedented circumstances created by COVID-19 pandemic. Working from home, social distancing and more for less have become the new normal. Publishers must now swiftly adapt to new methods of storytelling.

This 6-part, digital media bootcamp, in virtual learning mode, by WAN-IFRA, supported by Learn with Facebook Journalism Project from 27 May to 2 July, aims to help Indidan journalists in updating their skills to suit the new working conditions and challenges. Participants will gain insights about writing for the digital medium, thinking visually about content, making their stories discoverable and using tools to increase productivity.

Participants will also get additional one-to-one coaching sessions to apply the learning in the class to real life. The best project implemented from the learnings will win attractive prizes.
