Print and digital dailies: Between myth and reality
Profitability through efficiency, cost cutting and integration
WAN-IFRA Italia (in association with asig), the International Conference for the Italian publishing and printing industry, now on its 19th edition, is coming back to Bari 7 years after the 2009 edition. This year’s program deals with innovations in digital content management, multimedia advertising, printing and logistics, and newspaper re-organization.
The first working session will be focused on “New journalism and advertising models”: successful experiences to enhance and sell the contents for the online distribution channels; best solutions for developing and managing multimedia advertising campaigns for bringing consumers into sales points. Special attention will be given to successful workflow in newsroom organisation.
The second working session will be focused on the production and logistics management of the printed newspaper, from the new fully digital printing plants to new and emerging business models. Technology, consumables and new organizational concepts will be discussed, with an in-depth insights into the Italian newspaper market. The 2016 edition of the Annual Research of the Observatory, the most up-to-date report of all the Italian printing plants, and all the news coming from Drupa in Düsseldorf will complete this session.
All the working sessions of WAN-IFRA Italia 2016 will be translated into Italian and English.
On June 21st an evening dinner will take place at Zonno Ricevimenti, situated in the splendid scenario along Bari promenade.
