The World Editors Forum Asia Chapter, the regional network in Asia for editors within the World Association of News Publishers (WAN-IFRA), is bringing together some of the region’s brightest minds in the news media industry under a new programme called the Young Media Leaders Fellowship. The aim is to nurture the next generation of media leaders who can contribute effectively to the pursuit of good journalism and build capacity in their newsrooms to meet the needs of their societies in these uncertain times.
To build the region's future media leaders and to expose them to the challenges facing the media industry.
To provide an opportunity for future leaders to network and build partnerships to share best practices and improve capabilities.
To build inclusiveness and support the building of a more interconnected world through dialogues and interactions which will empower them to foster discussions on crucial issues in their communities.
Newsrooms submit nominations by 31 January, 5pm SIN/HK. Fellows announced by early February and invited to Singapore.
