Jean-Pierre de KERRAOUL, born in 1947, graduated from IEP in Paris. He holds a master's degree in economic sociology and was a journalist on Japanese television (NHK) and later in the scientific and medical press. He became active in the Regional Weekly Press by taking over or creating several securities, particularly in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais-Picardie region.

Today, the SOGEMEDIA group publishes 18 regional weeklies. All are bi-media and have important Facebook communities. Their web traffic is among the best in the regional press.

The company also operated a printing press with two offset press lines until September 2015. One of them was replaced in November 2015 by a Kodak Prosper 6000C digital press, connected to a Foldline finishing system from Manroland with the WorkflowBridge integration software. Production also includes a RIMA stacking system. This was the first European installation of a printing + finishing unit for the production of variable data files.

Jean-Pierre de Kerraoul is also editor of magazines: art press, art press2, practical garden.

Jean-Pierre de KERRAOUL has been president of the Regional Weekly Press Syndicate (SPHR) from 1991 to 2000, and of the French National Press Federation (1996 to 1998). He continues to intervene on numerous issues concerning the “The future of the press”.

Jean-Pierre de Kerraoul is currently vice president of SPHR and president of Espace PHR, the national advertising agency of the PHR.
