    Alexis Lloyd is an award-winning creative director, user experience designer, and researcher whose work focuses on exploring the newly available possibilities of emerging technologies. She designs and builds compelling user experiences that demonstrate innovative ways of engaging with information and with the world around us, currently as the Chief Design Officer at Axios and prior to that as the Creative Director of The New York Times R&D Lab. Alexis is also an accomplished writer and public speaker who can convene thoughtful conversations amongst diverse groups about the future of design, technology, and user experience.

    Christina is currently the CEO at Stakk Factory Limited, a digital media startup that is creating a mobile social news network bringing awe inspiring content that blends fun experience with meaning.

    Prior to this, Christina joined Apple Daily, HK in 2008 to kick start the animated news video project. The video channel was launched in late 2009, and Apple Daily has become the most popular media platform in HK since then, with over 2.5 million active unique users, generating over 30 million views daily.

    Under her leadership, the success of news videos and digital platforms helped Apple Daily transform from print to the new media market leader, and gained worldwide recognition.

    Ms. Leach is Chief Executive Officer of Piano Media (recently acquired Press+), appointed to her position in Sept. 2014. She oversees all aspects of Piano Media including: business expansion from Europe and North America into Asia and Latin and South America, new product development and client relationships. Prior to joining Piano, Ms. Leach was with Dow Jones where she had an extensive range of operating and strategy roles within The Wall Street Journal’s print and digital businesses in the United States and Europe.

    Rajiv C. Lochan is Managing Director and CEO of The Hindu Group’s publishing business. He is a member of the Board of Governors of IFMR, an independent director on the Board of Sundaram Finance Ltd and a Trustee of IKP Trust. Prior to The Hindu Group, Rajiv was a Partner with McKinsey & Company and co-founded their Chennai practice. Rajiv holds a BTech from IIT Madras, an MS from MIT and an MBA from Columbia Business School.

    Andrea Lodi

    Le Pr Andrea Lodi, chef de file international de la recherche en programmation linéaire et non linéaire mixte, a été nommé en 2014 titulaire de la Chaire d'excellence en recherche du Canada sur la science des données pour la prise de décision en temps réel, à Polytechnique Montréal. Il s’agit de la plus importante chaire au Canada dans le domaine de la recherche opérationnelle. Avant de se joindre à Polytechnique Montréal, M. Lodi était professeur titulaire en recherche opérationnelle au Département de génie électrique et de génie informatique de l’Université de Bologne. C’est aussi là qu’il a obtenu, en 2000, un doctorat en ingénierie des systèmes. Andrea Lodi s’intéresse tout particulièrement à l’élaboration de nouveaux modèles et d’algorithmes permettant de traiter de façon rapide et efficace une grande quantité de données de provenances multiples. Dans ses projets, il cherche entre autres des solutions visant à optimiser le marché de l'électricité, la logistique du transport ferroviaire et la planification des soins de santé. Il a été membre du prestigieux programme Herman Goldstine chez IBM T.J. Watson à New York, en 2005 et en 2006. Ses travaux novateurs lui ont valu d’autres distinctions, dont le Google Faculty Research Award en 2010 et l’IBM Faculty Award en 2011. Il est coordonnateur de projets européens d’envergure en recherche opérationnelle, consultant pour l'équipe R&D CPLEX chez IBM depuis 2006, et auteur d’au moins 70 publications parues dans les plus grandes revues en programmation mathématique; il a également collaboré comme éditeur associé à plusieurs de ces revues.

    Lauri Löfveblad is head of Strategy and Products and Chairman of the board. After spending nine years at Cint – the company providing the leading global marketplace for online panels – Löfveblad joined Syno International in 2017, responsible for company strategy and development of the product suite provided for data analysis, processing and reporting. With a background in studies of International Economy at Stockholm School of Economics and Finance at Stockholm University – with a focus on how customer satisfaction drives company evaluations over time – he dedicated much of his work in developing Cint and Syno from local companies with great solutions into international providers with global customer footprints.

    Chee Kong joined TODAY in June 2005 as a Reporter. He left TODAY in December 2009 to set up business news website start-up The Corporate Observer. He re-joined TODAY as News Editor in August 2010 and was promoted to Executive Editor in July 2012.  Chee Kong was re-designated as Associate Editor in January 2013, looking after the General News and Business desks.  He was promoted to Supervising Editor in July 2018 and appointed Deputy Chief Editor on August 25, 2018, where he now oversees TODAY's fully-digital operations and its efforts to focus on a millennial audience.

    Matej Loncaric is Director of Video, Innovation projects, JoomBoos in 24sata, leading media company in Croatia, owned by Styria Group. Matej joined 24sata in late 2014 to transform cable news TV channel into modern and agile digital video department. Since then 24sata video started to grow exponentially; From two FTE's to 30 FTE's plus more than 40 contractors; from 500k video views per month to 100 M video views per month on all platforms from Facebook, Youtube and internal web player.  

    Matej is  author and founder of today biggest YouTube network in Croatia – JoomBoos. Just one year since the launch, JoomBoos has won a particularly prestigious prize: the accolade of being among the most innovative media projects in the world at the INMA Global Media Awards in New York in 2017. – which is confirmation of the outstanding spirit of innovation. Video department has won more than 30 awards for it's drama series, musicals, talent shows from Digiday, Wan-ifra, INMA, Effie etc. Matej is today responsible for all innovation projects within 24sata.

    María López is Executive Vice President of Grupo Semana, one of the last independent publishing houses in Latin America. She's been recognized in the Women to Watch 2018 list and has won the Young Global Leader Award of the World Economic Forum. María focuses her work on leading the digital transformation of her company at a time of enormous disruption for the industry. She is the founder of the Fundación Semana and the Festival Detonante, a platform whose aim is to empower new generations to become agents of change in their communitities through creative industries.

    Alberto Lucas López joined National Geographic as Senior Graphics Editor in 2016. He studied journalism at the University of Navarra and began his career at Spanish newspaper El Correo. He spent three years at the South China Morning Post, where he set a record of 33 individual awards at SNDs Best of News Design in 2015 as Graphics Director. In just eight years of career His individual work has been renowned with more than 100 SND, Malofiej, WAN-IFRA, European Newspaper Awards, DJA Global Editors Network, Kantar Information Is Beatiful Awards, SOPA and Laus Awards, among others.

    Adrián López Ortiz is has a BSc in Engineering and a Master in Humanistic Studies from Tec University in Monterrey. Where he was awarded the "National Recognition for Ethical Training" and currently teaches ethics and citizenship. He is author of "A country without Peace", "Essay of a provocation" and Culture in "Sinaloa: narratives about the social intricacies and the violence"; He has been a panelist for FUNDAR, CIDE and Article 19, and was also part of the serial "Radical Realism" of the Institute for the Economy and Peace of New York as a peacebuilder in Mexico, he has been columnist for Noroeste, Sin Embargo,  and Vanguardia and a regular contributor to national radio and television news. HE has a Master in Administration with special focus on Innovation and Creative Leadership by the Berlin School of Creative Leadership with a fellowship in Germany, United States, China and Japan. He is a frequent collaborator WAN-IFRA on issues regarding freedom of expression and digital journalism and has been invited by the universities of Columbia and Notre Dame to talk about journalism and peacebuilding in Mexico, he is currently General Director of Grupo Editorial Noroeste in Sinaloa since 2012.

    Pierre Louette took over as head of the Les Echos-Le Parisien Group in March 2018. He was previously Deputy Chief Executive Officer of telecommunications group Orange, which he joined in 2010. A graduate of Sciences Po and ENA, Pierre Louette began his career as an auditor at the Cour des comptes before becoming the audiovisual adviser to Edouard Balladur, then Prime Minister. After four years as head of Havas Advertising digital activities, he joined Europ@web, the Internet division of the Arnault group, in 2000 as vice-president, where he remained until 2003. The same year, Pierre Louette returned to the media as CEO of Agence France-Presse and then CEO in 2005, before joining Orange in 2010.

     Marc Lourdes is Director of CNN Digital Asia. Based in Hong Kong, Lourdes leads CNN Digital’s Asia team across editorial content and multiplatform programming for CNN’s global audience during the Asian time zone. Lourdes works closely with CNN’s digital teams in London, Abu Dhabi, New York and Atlanta and as the digital leader in Asia-Pacific, he is responsible for devising and implementing strategies to grow key audiences in the region. 

    Marc Lourdes was appointed in April 2016 – just weeks after CNN announced a major digital expansion. CNN is significantly increasing its global digital footprint by creating an additional 200 jobs plus enhancing its products and technologies, with a specific focus on mobile and video. 

    Before joining CNN Lourdes worked at Yahoo! for five years, most recently as Editor in Chief of Yahoo Singapore. He has spent more than a decade as a journalist and editor, working at publications like The Star and New Straits Times in Malaysia and the St. Louis Post-Dispatch in Missouri, among others.

    Chris Louw leads content business operations at one of South Africa’s largest media groups, Caxton&CTP. In addition to the group’s stable of over 150 local and hyperlocal newspapers, Caxton owns and operates more than 100 news and special interest websites, making the group South Africa’s leader in community news. Chris played a central role in transforming its print products into digital assets, and, given his experience as a professional journalist, he now serves on various industry bodies, including the South African National Editors’ Forum (SANEF), where he is a council member. Recently, Chris has been elected as the Chairman of the South African Interactive Advertising Bureau Publisher Council.

    Kobus Louwrens
    Kobus Louwrens is Co-Founder of Food For Mzansi and Strategy Director of YehBaby, a digital marketing agency. He is an award-winning environmental journalist, who previously published leading magazines and community newspapers in both South Africa and East Africa. This MBA graduate developed digital strategies for various small-to-medium enterprises and entrepreneurs. Under Kobus’s visionary leadership YehBaby has developed breakthrough digital marketing for numerous agricultural, wine and tourism brands.

    Aaron Luber

    Aaron leads partnerships and content strategy for Google Cardboard. The most impressive surprise in Cardboard's short lived success is in the incredible brand engagement and eagerness for companies from all over the world to work with Cardboard. Previously Aaron was on the YouTube New Business Development team and helped launch 360-degree video on YouTube for unique storytelling.

    Veteran Indonesian editor Uni Lubis leads IDN Times' news team on the strategic, business and editorial fronts. She has been editor-in-chief at various news organisations, including ANTV, viva.co.id and as Managing Director of Rappler Indonesia, and has served the maximum of two terms on Indonesia's Press Council. Since her appointment in December 2017, Uni has been growing the IDN Times' news team to provide the country's millennials and Generation Z with credible and trusted news content. Independently-owned IDN Media was founded in 2014 and within three years grew IDN Times into Indonesia's fifth most-visited media site based on Comscore data.

    Daxim Rey Lucas
    Daxim Rey Lucas is the Inquirer Prime Content Editor concurrent with his role as Writing Editor for the Business section. He is a highly seasoned and award winning journalist who joined the Inquirer as Reporter 14 years ago, rose to Writing Editor and then recently to his new full-time appointment as Inquirer Prime Content Editor. Prior to joining the Inquirer, he was the Business Editor of Manila Standard Today, News Editor of The Manila Times and covered the Malacanang Palace for Business World. He earned his Management Degree from the Ateneo de Manila University and completed his Masters in Development Management at the Asian Institute of Management.

    Liam Lucas

The company wants to make buying advertising as easy as booking a flight, connecting advertisers with users across any device, format or location.

    Juan Manuel Lucero coordinates the Google News Lab for South America. He is a consultant in Digital Marketing Strategy, Digital Communication and Strategy in Social Networks. He hosted and directed the television program "Negocios Digitales". He is a columnist for TV and radio technology. He works with organizations and companies in Latin America and Spain helping them to rethink about their digital strategy, connect their on / off channels, assemble digital action plans and train CEOs, managers and operational teams to improve the positioning and visibility of their online actions. He developed the concept of "Digital Philosophy", which allows companies to implement an innovative work methodology for teams that also multiplies the profitability of their digital business.

    Entrepreneur in business linked to technology and digital communication. He leaded the Diploma in Digital Marketing at Blas Pascal University (Argentina) from 2008 to 2016. From 2002 to 2011 he directed the digital marketing agency INNOVA. He has given conferences in Argentina, Spain, Mexico, Chile and Costa Rica. In 2012 he was recognized as "Best co-founder" at The Next Web Latin American Awards. He obtained the Google Argentina Scholarship / Pompeu Fabra University (2011) and the Fundación Carolina scholarship for the Complutense University of Madrid (2013). He is part of the founding team, manager and organizer of TEDxCórdoba and mentor of Argentine accelerators and incubators.

    Hannes Ludwig

    Hannes Ludwig, 41, has been Head of “New Business Areas” since 1 April 2014. He has since expanded the F.A.Z. portfolio considerably with the products Frankfurter Allgemeine Quarterly, F.A.Z. Plus, F.A.Z. Woche (week) and the regional B2B magazine F.A.Z. Metropol. The native of Bremen came two years ago from the Mexican joint venture Editorial Motorpress Televisa. There he has been responsible for the successful conversion and expansion of the brands in print, digital and in the event area. Hannes Ludwig started his career at Gruner + Jahr and worked for the “Motor Presse Stuttgart” in Hungary and Romania.

    With more than 20 years of journalistic experience, Ernest was previously a digital news editor with The Straits Times and has now moved into a digital content strategy role to help discover new content platforms for The Straits Times and The Business Times, to enable these publications to reach a wider audience globally. He is developing podcasts as part of a voice strategy now.
