Julián Gallo

Founder, Gallo Media, Argentina

Julián is an expert in digital communication.
He has worked simultaneously in journalism, advertising and politics, and has been a consultant for numerous media and mass consumption companies in Argentina and abroad.

He is an advisor to Clarín -he was part of the founding team behind the online version of the newspaper-, and carried out institutional advertising campaigns for TN as well. He advised El Imparcial newspaper and Debate group (both from Mexico). He was a mentor for Facebook’s Video Accelerator Project.

In 2020 he was the creator of Inmersión Clarín, an innovative documentary that used the Telegram messenger.

In 2005 he developed in Argentina the first mobile photography platform for journalistic use, also a survey system for television programs.

He was the creator of La Cápsula del Tiempo del bicentenario for the Government of the City of Buenos Aires.

He managed the digital communication during the presidency of Mauricio Macri and the social networks of Casa Rosada.

He received several awards, including the Martin Fierro Best Educational Program, the Napolitan, awarded by Washington Academy, for Best Political Documentary and the second prize INMA 2021 in the category Best Product and Tech Innovation. Winner Wan-Ifra 2022 Best Audience Engagement for “Cartas desde las Isla”, for Clarín.com.

He is a member of the National Academy of Journalism of Argentina.
