Asian Media Awards 2019

The winners of the WAN-IFRA's Asian Media Awards were announced on May 8, during the Publish Asia/Newsroom Summit Asia 2019 conferences in Singapore. WAN-IFRA's Media Awards provide news publishers with regular showcases in the region. This year, South China Morning Post makes clean sweep of Newspaper Infographics category; Singapore media companies take top three spots for Best News Photo.

In their 18th edition, WAN-IFRA's annual Asian Media Awards attracted 356 entries from countries all over Asia and the Middle East which competed for excellence in editorial content, design, infographics, photography, printing quality, newspaper marketing and community service.

Asian Media Awards 2018

The South China Morning Post Publishers Ltd, Living Media Pvt Ltd, and Jagran Prakashan Ltd won multiple golds at the World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers (WAN-IFRA)'s annual Asian Media Awards, which were presented today at the Publish Asia 2018 conference taking place at the Westin Resort Nusa Dua in Bali, Indonesia.

In their 17th edition, WAN-IFRA's annual Asian Media Awards attracted 435 entries from countries all over Asia and the Middle East which competed for excellence in editorial content, design, infographics, photography, printing quality, newspaper marketing and community service. Over 30 judges from international media companies in 13 countries evaluated the entries in recent months to select the 39 award winners honoured at Publish Asia.

Asian Media Awards 2017

In their 16th edition, Asian Media Awards gathered over 420 entries countries from all over Asia and the Middle East The South China Morning Post (Hong Kong), Singapore Press Holdings (Singapore) , Malayala Manorama Company Ltd (India) and Philippine Daily Inquirer (Philippines) were among the top winners WAN-IFRA's annual Asian Media Awards which were presented on 19 April in a gala ceremony hosted in Kuala Lumpur opened by Guest of honour: YAB Dato' Sri Mohd Najib bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak, Prime Minister of Malaysia.

Selected by a jury composed of 25 international media executives from companies such as Schibsted, Axel Springer or The Evening Standard, the winner list can be view here

Asian Media Awards 2016

Singapore Press Holdings (Singapore), The New Straits Times (Malaysia) and The South China Morning Post (Hong Kong) were among the top winners of the annual Asian Media Awards (AMA) presented on 30 March in a gala ceremony in Manila. While The Star (Malaysia), Jawa Pos (Indonesia) Gulf News (UAE) and Muscat Press (Oman) also clinched several trophies, this year’s Awards were marked by the achievements of first-time winners from Myanmar (The Myanmar Times), Pakistan (The Dawn and Jang) and South Korea (Kaya Media). The best in newspaper front page design was awarded to an impactful cover on the smoke haze contamination from open burning in Sumatra and Kalimantan by Republika (Indonesia). Asian Media Awards 2015

In their 14th edition, Asian Media Awards gathered a record of 595 entries countries from all over Asia and the Middle East The Best in Print Awards were sponsored by manroland web systems. The South China Morning Post (Hong Kong), Singapore Press Holdings (Singapore) ,The New Straits Times (Malaysia) Apple Daily (Taiwan) were among the top winners WAN-IFRA's annual Asian Media Awards which were presented on 29 April in a gala ceremony hosted in Bangkok by the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) and opened by H.E. Prayut Chan-o-cha, the Prime Minister of Thailand. The winner list can be view here.
