Louise is currently the Chief News Strategist and Chief Product & Technology Officer at The Wall Street Journal. She built and runs a large unit there called Digital Experience & Strategy (DXS), which includes the Journal’s product engineering, design and product management teams that work across the commercial and newsroom side of the WSJ. Louise also oversees the newsroom’s content strategy, data science, community and audience development teams. She oversees the daily news report in a rotation of senior masthead editors and has set forth major parts of the news strategy. Prior to this role, Louise spent more than a decade at The New York Times. During that span, she helped lead multimedia and strategy initiatives and worked on ground-breaking projects as an investigative reporter that led to multiple billion-dollar plus financial settlements, government reforms and legal convictions.
