    Amy is the Director of Analytics and Revenue Optimization for News and Publishing at Google. Her teams oversee both ads and non-ads revenue opportunities for Google’s News partners, covering solutions that leverage Ad Manager technology as well as the News Consumer Insights analytical framework. Amy also leads the data pillar of the Google News Initiative (GNI), Google’s $300 million commitment to the news industry, helping journalists and their publishers remain profitable in new and innovative ways. In developing data-driven tools and resources for news organizations, Amy and her team remain committed to pushing the frontiers of monetization for publishers in ads and non-ads related capacities.

    Joao Adao is Facebook’s Managing Director for Spanish-speaking South America. Before Quartz, Yinka was deputy editor at Billboard where he ran business coverage for the world’s leading music magazine brand. Earlier in his career Yinka was an editor at New Media Age in London covering the early days of the digital media revolution and a regular writer for The Guardian and The Financial Times. He has spoken at the World Bank, WTO and is a pundit on BBC, CNN and NPR.

    Siyabonga is a digital media specialist having honed his skills in print, broadcast and online news media. He’s currently the program officer for the South Africa Media Innovation Program and an executive committee member of Hacks/Hackers Johannesburg. The South Africa Media Innovation Program (SAMIP) is a multi-year media initiative that aims to accelerate innovation and transformation of South Africa’s news media industry. Since 2017 the program has worked with more than twenty news media start-ups, non-profits and small business by providing them bespoke funding and capacity building.

    Pawan Agarwal is the Deputy Managing Director of the Dainik Bhaskar Group.

    In 1967 he was sworn in as a member of the San Andrés de los Flamencos Royal Council, the highest governing body of the Carlos de Amberes Foundation, dating from 1594. Since 1991 he has been its president. He is a patron of the Royal Tapestry Factory Foundation. He is part of the Averroes Committee in the field of Spanish-Moroccan relations.

    He is Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company “MADRID, Diario de la Noche S.A.”, which continues in activity and Chairman of the Board of the Fundación Diario MADRID, where the survivors of that honorable adventure gather.

    Minna Aila (born in 1966) has well over ten years of experience in sustainability in different business sectors, including three listed global companies. Ms Aila is currently Vice President, Corporate Affairs, at Nokia. She is responsible for communications, corporate responsibility and government relations. Prior to Nokia, Ms Aila worked as Senior Vice President, Marketing, Communications and Corporate Responsibility, at Outotec. Before joining Outotec, Ms Aila was working as the Head of Communications at the Federation of Finnish Financial Services. In her position she was also responsible for the corporate responsibility activities of the Federation as well as developing joint CR activities of the member companies, including leading banks and insurance companies operating in Finland.

    In 2003-09, Ms Aila was a Director at Elcoteq SE, responsible for global communications, investor relations, corporate responsibility and corporate relations. Prior to joining Elcoteq, Ms Aila was employed by the European Commission for ten years, serving various Directorate-Generals. As a Head of Section at the Commission’s Representation in Finland she was responsible for i.a. major information campaigns, such as the introduction of euro currency and EU enlargement.

    Minna Aila holds a degree of Master of Laws from the University of Helsinki and has also taken PhD –courses in International marketing and business strategy at Helsinki University of Technology, Department of Industrial Management. She has served in the Board of FIBS Corporate Responsibility Network in 2013-16, and is currently a Board member at Finnish Children and Youth Foundation, Finland-China Trade Association, Finnish Chamber Orchestra and the National Defence Course Association.

    I started my career in the banking sector, where l worked for the British Bank of the Middle East for two years. In 1997, I moved to Dubai Media Incorporated and worked at its Financial Support Services Department for nine years. Afterwards I moved to the publishing sector, where l worked as Director of the Subscription and Distribution Department and later as Deputy General Manager of Al Bayan Newspaper, before l worked as Executive General Manager of four newspapers, namely Al Bayan, Emarat Alyoum, Emirates Today and Emirates 24/7. I then moved to DMI as (CMO) Chief of Commercial Affairs and Marketing Officer for the TV channels, newspapers, radio channels, printing press and Tawseel Company. Now I'm the CEO of Press Sector in Dubai Media Inc.

    Meanwhile, I have always been responsible for the administrative side (Human Resources - Information Technology - Financial Management - Sales - Marketing) and the link between the media and administrative sides of DMI.

    Furthermore, I have contributed to a number of DMI's major projects, most notably Al Bayan's paperless hall, the re-launch of Al Bayan Newspaper, the conversion of Emarat Alyoum from a free newspaper to a paid one, the conversion of Emirates 24/7 from a printed newspaper to a digital one, the inception of Ara Magazine and the foundation of Tawseel Company.

    His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak joined the Federal Government in 1992 and held a number of government portfolios including Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Minister of Education and Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development.

    His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak was also Chancellor of United Arab Emirates University from 1983 to 2013; Chancellor of Higher Colleges of Technology from 1988 to 2013; and President of Zayed University from 1998 to 2013 .

    His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan received his education at the British Millfield School until the high secondary level before joining Magdalen College at Oxford University-UK .

    His Excellency Omar bin Sultan Al Olama has been appointed as Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence following the Cabinet reshuffle of October 2017.     Al Olama is currently the Managing Director of the World Government Summit in the Prime Minister’s Office at the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs and the Future.
